10G SFP+ transceivers, also referred to as 10 Gigabit SFP+ transceivers, are used for a variety of connectivity applications in data centers and network wiring closets. 10G transceivers are the industry’s smallest form factor of transceiver and are hot-pluggable.
Because they are hot-pluggable, 10G SFP+ transceivers can be plugged directly into an Ethernet SFP+ transceiver port, without the need to power down your system during installation or replacement.
10 Gigabit transceivers are primarily used to transfer Ethernet data at a rate of 10 Gigabits per over fiber optic cables. For this reason, they are often referred to as 10GBase transceivers. 10GBase SFP+ transceivers are interoperable with 10GBase transceiver form factors such as, XENPAK, XFP and X2.
FluxLight carries a variety of 10GBase SFP+ transceiver modules, including popular Cisco 10G SFP+ transceivers, such as the:
Many of FluxLight’s SFP+ transceivers support digital optical monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics of optical power, temperature, voltage and other operating parameters.
All of FluxLight’s 10 Gigabit transceivers are 100% MSA compliant and OEM compatible. All transceivers are brand new, and tested for functionality prior to shipment.
In addition to SFP+ transceivers, FluxLight offers a complete line of SFP+ Direct Attached Copper (DAC or Twinax) Cables, as well as SFP+ Active Optical Cables (AOC) complete with SFP+ connectors as well as single fiber Bi-Directional (BIDI) transceivers. Both AOC and DAC cables are suitable for short distance data transmissions and offer a cost-effective way of upgrading your network.
FluxLight’s 10G SFP+ transceivers and cables are in compliance with the following industry standards:
- SFP+ MSA SFF-8431 (Optical Modules, Active Optical Cables, and Twinax Cables)
- SFP+ MSA SFF-8461 (Active Twinax Cables)
- DDM SFF-8472 (Diagnostic Monitoring Interface for Optical Transceivers)
- IEEE 802.3ae (10-Gigabit Ethernet)
In addition to SFP+, FluxLight carries a full line of other transceivers types, including: QSFP-DD, QSFP+, SFP28, SFP, SFP+-BIDI and SFP-BIDI transceivers.
