Tony Farinholt, Founder and CEO
Tony Farinholt has more than 30 years experience in optical networking technology with companies like Alcatel, Fujistu, ADC Telecommunications and with a number of startup ventures. Tony holds an MBA from the University of Dallas Braniff School of Business and BS in Computer Science from George Mason University. Tony holds several optical technology patents including several related to novel fiber optic survivable rings. He has participated in numerous standards committees (ANSI, ITU, etc.) and has spoken extensively at various seminars and conferences related to optical technologies.
Tony has also organized and participated in several interoperability activities related to ATM-over-SONET and DSL technologies. Tony is responsible for Fluxlight business and technology strategy as well as R&D. He is serious fitness enthusiast (triathlete, bodybuilding) and has recently discovered a passion for golf.
Denise Mattioli, Founder and CFO
Denise Mattioli has extensive experience in managing all aspects of large fund-raisers for various non-profit organizations. Denise holds BS in Computer Science from George Mason University and has completed several financial certificate programs. She was a pioneer in Artificial Intelligence programs at TRW specifically focused on Natural Language Processing. Denise is an accomplished website designer playing a lead role in all aspects of Fluxlight's Internet presence. She is responsible for all aspects of accounting, finance and budgeting at Fluxlight. Denise is an accomplished fused glass artist and avid golfer.
Dominic Farinholt, Vice-President
Dominic Farinholt interned with Fluxlight for several years and, upon completion of a BA in Business Management from the University of North Texas in 2010, joined Fluxlight fulltime. Dominic has always taken a lead role in marketing and is responsible for all customer quotation activities. He is also the primary decision maker regarding most operational aspects at Fluxlight, including shipping partners & policies, RMA processes, physical plant organization, incoming material test & acceptance, etc. Dominic enjoys designing and building knives and even owns a 3-D printing machine for prototyping.
Daniel Brassil, Director of Sales Operations
Daniel Brassil started as a part time employee at Fluxlight in 2007 and, when he completed his undergraduate degree at University of Dallas in 2008, came on in a full time capacity. Daniel is the pleasant voice on the end of phone that call-in customers usually encounter. He also replies to most requests for information regarding parts, orders, shipping info, etc. Daniel is extremely careful and fastidious and is always willing to go above-and-beyond to assist a customer or a co-worker. He was born in Brazil and is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and has been instrumental in helping Fluxlight establish a business presence in South America. Daniel has a passion for city planning and infrastructure improvement and is engaging graduate studies in that area.
