FluxLight's GLC-BX-D-FL is a Cisco® compatible 1000Base SFP-BIDI Optical Transceiver and is factory pre-programmed with all the necessary configuration data for seamless network integration. Our transceivers perform identically to Cisco® original transceivers and are 100% compatible with other OEM and third party transceivers. The Cisco GLC-BX-D-FL is 100% MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) compliant. All FluxLight's transceivers are tested for 100% functionality and guaranteed compatible for outstanding network performance.

- Circuit ground is internally isolated from chassis ground.
- Laser output disabled on TDIS > 2.0V or open, enabled on TDIS < 0.8V.
- Should be pulled up with 4.7–10 kΩ on the host board to a voltage between 2.0V and 3.6V. MOD_DEF(0) pulls the line low to indicate the module is plugged in.
- Rate select is not used.
- LOS is an open-collector output. Should be pulled up with 4.7–10 kΩ on the host board to a voltage between 2.0V and 3.6V. Logic 0 indicates normal operation; logic 1 indicates loss of signal.
- AC coupled.
ESD
This transceiver is specified as ESD threshold 1kV for high-speed data pins and 2kV for all other electrical input pins, tested per MIL-STD-883, Method 3015.4 /JESD22-A114-A (HBM). However, normal ESD precautions are still required during the handling of this module. This transceiver is shipped in ESD protective packaging. It should be removed from the packaging and handled only in an ESD protected environment.

Get The Distance You Want with GLC-BX-D...
I really like that this site lets me choose the distance on my GLC-BX-D. I don't need something that gives me 120km range, for my small project, the 10km was fine, and that's all I wanted to pay for. But it was a nice surprise to see Fluxlight has the GLC-BX-D in so many range choices. I know now that for future project I can buy just what I need. I had no problems installing it, and there haven't really been any hiccups in its use either.

Quite Versatile GLC-BX-D...
I love the GLC-BX-D, let me just say. It supports DOM, which makes it easy to see the state of the transceiver after its installed. That makes troubleshooting the device after it's installed much, much easier. The bidirectional, single fiber connection is also pretty versatile. You won't find too many network devices that can't interface with the GLC-BX-D.
